Quodinal privacy notice

Quodinal is an internal tool that Eden AI, Inc., doing business as Quotain (“Quotain”), runs for its employees and contractors to plan, approve, publish, and measure posts on their own LinkedIn profiles. It is not offered to customers or the public. This notice explains what Quodinal collects and how it is used. The Quotain Privacy Policy covers Quotain's product and website.
What Quodinal collects
- From your Google Workspace account, when you sign in: your name, work email address, and profile photo. Quodinal does not keep Google's access tokens.
- From LinkedIn, if you connect your profile: your name, profile photo, LinkedIn member ID, the permissions you granted, and access tokens that let Quodinal act on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted.
- Content you and your team create: post drafts and copy, images, videos, and documents attached to posts, schedules, approval decisions and comments, and planned team reactions, comments, and reposts.
- Analytics from LinkedIn, where Quotain's LinkedIn app has access: figures such as impressions, reactions, comments, reposts, and follower counts for connected profiles and their posts.
- Security and usage records: when you sign in, the IP address and browser of your active sessions, a history of actions taken in Quodinal, a log of operational emails sent, and details of agent API keys (keys are stored only as a one-way hash).
How it is used
Quodinal uses this information only to:
- publish, at the time you or your team chose, posts that were written and scheduled in Quodinal;
- run approvals before posts go live;
- show the team how published posts performed;
- send operational emails, such as approval requests and publishing failures;
- keep the tool secure, and keep a record of who did what.
Quodinal does not sell this information, use it for advertising, share it with data brokers, or post anything that was not written and scheduled in Quodinal. It does not use your information to train AI models.
Who can see it
- Your colleagues in Quodinal can see the posts, schedules, approvals, and analytics for connected profiles, because Quodinal is a shared team calendar.
- AI agents that a colleague connects with an API key act with that colleague's permissions. Whatever such an agent reads is processed by its provider under Quotain's agreements with that provider.
- Service providers that run Quodinal for Quotain: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Cloudflare (domain, file storage, scheduling, and access control), Resend (email), Google (sign-in), and LinkedIn (the platform you publish to).
Where it is stored and how it is protected
Quodinal's data is stored in the United States. Connections are encrypted in transit. LinkedIn access tokens are encrypted at rest with a key kept separately from the database. Only Quotain Google Workspace accounts can sign in, and when someone leaves Quotain their access is removed, their sessions and API keys end, and LinkedIn profiles they connected are disconnected.
How long it is kept
- Disconnecting LinkedIn deletes your access tokens at once, so Quodinal can no longer act for you. You can also remove Quodinal in LinkedIn under Settings & Privacy, Data privacy, Permitted services.
- Posts and their history are kept as Quotain's record of what was published and approved. Drafts you delete are hidden from Quodinal but kept in that record.
- LinkedIn analytics are kept only as long as LinkedIn's API terms allow.
- Sign-in sessions last up to seven days and end immediately when access is removed.
Your choices
Connecting your LinkedIn profile is optional, and you can disconnect it in Quodinal at any time. To ask what Quodinal holds about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email privacy@quotain.com. Quotain will delete or anonymize it, except where it must keep a record for legal or security reasons.
